Antonello da Messina at the Museo Diocesano in Milano

The painting by Antonello da Messina called "L’Annunciata" will be exhibited in Milan for the first time from October 4th to November 25th at the religious museum Museo Diocesano di Milano. Located in Corso di Porta Ticinese 95, it is open every day from 10am to 6pm except on Mondays. (Remember this is the day that most museums and some shops close, so always check before going.)

This exhibit is part of a cultural initiative which has brought other famous paintings to Milan. The painting technique used in the Annunciata is tempera and oil on wood.

After going through extensive analysis and non-invasive restoration, the painting which is usually housed in Palermo at the Galleria Regionale della Sicilia Abatellis, is now being exhibited in Milan, so don't miss this opportunity to see it.
