Issue 6 - March 2008


March is considered the crazy month in Italy because the weather is so unpredictable. In fact, this March perfectly fits into that scheme. Winter-coat in the morning, no socks and jacket in the afternoon and heavy rainfalls in the evening. We had it all and all in one day.

So what is new on MY-MILANO.COM?

Yeah, we survived another fashion week and another MIPEL MICAM shoes and bags fair but the best event of the last weeks was the opening of the Design Library Cafè in Via Savona. Milan has one more gorgeous location for design fans and professionals in trendy Zona Tortona.

Inspired by all these new trends and designs we did a make over of our look on the website. For spring and summer we choose softer tones for MY-MILANO.COM and we introduced lots of nice pictures for more structure and fun on our site. We are of course delighted to hear some feedback from our readers. So please let us know what you think using the contact form on MY-MILANO.COM.

Just as everywhere else in the world (except in the US), we too in Milan, celebrated or did not celebrate “Festa della Donna” the International Women’s Day on March, 8. A good reason for a blog entry on How to ride a scooter on High Heels.
