Cult & Trendy Dining

HOME MADE - delicate food restarant

As the name suggests, Home Made offers clients an atmosphere that is more home-like than a traditional restaurant, with a warm, cosy feel. This new formula and the design were created by proprietor and “food designer” Monica Bagnari along with Milanese architects Luca Rossire and Riccardo Salvi for this trendy space. The restaurant is divided into various different areas, starting with the entrance leading "into the home" through a garden, then into the dining room, passing through a living area which intentionally interrupts the passageway to offer a corner for relaxing or eating in a less formal atmosphere.

Open during the week for a chic lunch, or in the evening for a relaxing dinner. Superb creative menu! Also open for Sunday brunch.

OFFICINA 12

Officina 12 is of the most popular "hot" spots along the famous Milanese "Navigli" or canals. Great for an aperitivo, the famed "Happy Hour", in the beautiful quiet inner courtyard or at the American Bar. Enjoy the charm of this old car repair workshop, which has been expertly transformed into a chic and trendy space, for a delicious dinner. You can eat inside on the ground floor or balcony above or in the little canal-side covered patio. The menu includes a fine selection of traditional and regional dishes as well as pizza cooked in a wood oven. Finish you dinner with one of their delicious and creative desserts.

Business dinners, wedding receptions, and private parties can be planned in one of their semi-secluded spaces.

IL CUCCHIAIO DI LEGNO

A great place to stop for a light lunch, snack or aperitivo. However what makes this place so special is the "private dining area" (reservations only!)for a max. of 12 people with a chef demonstrating and cooking before you. This is a truly multi-functional space and has a well-equipped shop where you can buy kitchenware and utensils for cooking and entertaining.

If you are interested in gourmet food and cooking, you must stop in to see their selection of products and foods.

DA GIACOMO

One of the best Fish Restaurants in town, Da Giacomo is always full of personalities from the “fashion world”. This trattoria is a cross between the traditional and trendy with colorful walls and lots of plants, linen tablecloths and, of course, delicious food. You’ll find a huge display of the freshest fish as soon you enter the restaurant, so this should get you in the mood. On the other hand, if you are a meat lover, no fear, the traditional Tuscan Fiorentino steak and other meats are available here, too. Creative homemade pasta dishes, and an assortment of scrumptious desserts will complete your evening.

Be sure to book ahead, as Da Giacomo is very popular every day of the week. Also recommended for a romantic evening or a business diner.
