Summer in Milan is not all work and stifling heat. Milan's great artificial lake inaugurated in 1930, is the coolest place in town. Located just a few minutes from the city center near Linate airport, this huge park includes various sports facilities, swimming pools, tennis, canoeing, and much much more. During the months of July and August it will host concerts of the best Italian and International musicians and singers, cabaret artists, theater groups, and sports events.
