Koko Bottoli Private Preview of the Autumn /Winter 2007 Bag and Belt Collection

For the presentation of their latest bag and belt collection Vanessa Djaba Bottoli, director and creative soul of Koko Bottoli choose Cafè degli Atellani, in Via Moscova as a location. The impressive glass cube furnished with modern wood tables and giant plants formed a elegant, distinguished yet cozy environment for a private preview. A rich delicious buffet, tasty drinks and a good selection of guests made sure that the evening was entertaining and stimulating.

“Inspired by you, designed by me, created for you” has been Koko Bottoli’s slogan from the first collection on and also this collection sticks strictly to that theme, proposing bags that have practicality as their main focus, thinking about the woman who wears it without neglecting fashion or style. All the bags have several smaller pockets inside for cell phones, keys and wallets, so one can easily find the most important items in a second, even in a larger bag. Different compartments and a handle size that allows the bag to be worn over the shoulder too, are a Koko Bottoli standard.

Koko Bottoli's Autumn/Winter 2007 Collection comes in a range of classical autumn colors like beige, orange, red, brown and black that can remind us of falling leaves but also varies the autumn theme by proposing these colors in metallic versions and adding several silvery shades, like gunmetal.

The Autumn/Winter 2007 collection re-proposes the absolute success model “Yummy Mummy” not only in the classical colors but also in a brand new bronze shade. The “Jacky O.” model, on the other hand, is presented in a shiny black patent version with colored stitching.

The absolute highlight of the collection is the re-edition of the “Sandra Knightsbridge” and the "Carolina" bag which of the quilting of the last collection, were presented in a never seen before “smocking effect” that recalls an elaboration of fabric from the 70’s and adapts it for the first time to leather. An extreme modern and young version of the Chanel type ladylike bag for an elegant sophisticated style that is not boring because it is unique.
