'Oh Bei, Oh Bei' Christmas Market in Milano

December 7th is a special date in Milan, the day of its Patron Saint, the mythically energetic Ambrogio. The popular event related to December 7th is the centuries-old market where the feast day of Saint Ambrose is celebrated. Originally located around the Sant Ambrogio Basilica and in the small streets nearby, it is now situated around the Sforza Castle. Called 'Oh Bei, Oh Bei' from the cries stall-holders used in bygone days to attract customers, the market offers mainly crafts and bric-à-brac items and candies. Very lively and crowded, it is held from dawn to dusk for three days only, so don't miss it!
