Piedmont

Langhe & Roero

This portion of Piedmont is the heart of some great wines. The countryside is breathtakingly beautiful and the morning haze is a bit mysterious. Come here to enjoy good food and wine. Visit the new Wine Museum – WiMu in the medieval town of Barolo, and the Banca del Vino (Wine Bank) in Pollenzo, where wine from all over Italy is stored and aged.
You will have the possibility to stop in the local wineries to do some tasting and shopping for yourselves and friends. Not only wine, but those of you who like chocolate and hazelnuts this is paradise!

Bra - Slow Food & Cheese

The town of Bra is home of the Slow Food Movement as well as host to a fantastic culinary street fair called CHEESE , which is held every two years. During CHEESE the streets are lined with cheese producers from various regions of Italy, Europe and the rest of the world. We were amazed at the variety and types of cheese displayed, each with its own history and cultural value. Workshops during the fair offer plenty of occasions for the visitor to learn more about the various cheeses produced.
