Theaters & Museums

Take advantage of what the city offers. There are quite a few theaters with special programs or museums with exhibits especially for children. The most popular traditional ones are the science and natural history museums, the aquarium, the planetarium, and the toy museum. Next weekend treat yourself and your kids to a fun day!


Verdeacqua Verdeacqua at the Acquario di Milano

Come to the Aquarium in Milan for the most spectacular birthday parties ever. According to age, there are three fantastic programs to choose from: BABY ACQUARIO PARTY (from 2 to 3 years old), HAPPYFISH (from 4 to 6 years old), and OCEANPARTY (from 7 to 10 years old).

Triennale Kids Triennale Design Museum

There is a special exhibit within the exhibit just for "Kids". It includes a children's book with cute illustrations and a story about the design objects on exhibit. Give your children the opportunity to see objects of design in an amusing way.

Planetarium Planetarium "Ulrico Hoepli"

Inaugurated in 1930, this planetarium located in the Public Gardens of Milan is a real historic site. It is one of the largest and most modern planetariums in Europe and is equipped with a Zeiss model IV which projects a realistic and fascinating view of the stars, constellations and planets.

Museum of Science and Technology

This is the largest science and technology museum in Italy. It is divided into various departments like: Materials, Transportation, Energy, Communications, Leonardo: Art & Science, New Frontiers, and Science for Children.There are special children's workshops and laboratories where children can explore, experiment and learn about the rules of science and physics. Every weekend there are special children's programs planned with itineraries and pathways through the museum.
